with special lotus intake and exhaust system. there also going to mess about with the valve timing and injection system.

Smart move. Now it's more practical. That Proton dude speech make no sense. You give us the new Lotus Evora? His speech scares the customers away, they might thought Proton built it. Who's Proton btw? A car company we've never heard of.

It doesn't have the 4Runner's engine. The 4Runner uses the 4.0L 1GR-FE V6 which is designed for their truck and big SUV lineup.

The Evora's going to be using the more sophisticated 3.5L 2GR-FE which Toyota uses in over a dozen of their models from the Camry and Avalon to the Rav4 and the Highlander/Kluger. This engine's much better for performance with a lightweight diecast block and dual vvti.

because the highlander, is like a lambo.
and the 4runner is like a Hummer.

They should have just stuck with honda.

wtf are you comparing a highlander to a lambo? you make no sense. a highlander is a big heavy 4200+ lbs AWD SUV. The Evora's going to be a light 2900 lbs mid engined coupe. just because they use the same engine doesnt mean theyre anything close to the same class. its nice Lotus is going to bump up to a more muscular V6. Besides, you know the guys at Lotus are gonna tweat the engine before they put it in so its definately not going to behave same as your highlander.

Not very good with the english language i see.
You said it was entirely different, and it comes in a highlander not a 4runner, AS IF A HIGHLANDER IS MUCH DIFFERENT THAN 4RUNNER!

The engine will likely have a different set of headers thats about it, maybe different ecu tuning such as redline. THAT WILL BE IT.

You saying what you did emplies, that a highlander is sporty like a lambo.
And a 4runner is like a slow truck, like hummer.
Learn to read before jumping someones shit!
